“Why are you yelling at me?”When I see this, I start having all these thoughts of Blaine being drunk and confused, and when Kurt starts yelling at him, he’s having like flashbacks of his dad or both of his parents yelling at him when they lost their cool about the fact that their son isn’t going to turn straight. Blaine just automatically gets defensive before he realizes that he seriously messed up with Kurt just then, and he gets scared that Kurt won’t want him like his parents. He’s so scared of not being good enough, because he was never enough for his parents, but Kurt is all he has. And he doesn’t know what to do, so he just shuts down and has to escape.
And after WSS, when he and Kurt are in the auditorium, he’s just making small talk because he’s scared to apologize, because what if Kurt doesn’t want him anymore? But Kurt loves him so much, and Blaine is so relieved. And Kurt tells him he’s proud to be with him, and Blaine almost starts to cry because he’d been terrified that he might lose the most important thing in his life, and he just wants someone to be proud of him, because his parents left that void in his heart that Kurt fills so perfectly.
fucking ugly crying rn
